* AGM = absorbent glass mat, the acid is absorbed by fibers and thus hardens.-The electrolyte is wrapped in a fiber membrane.-The battery is hermetically sealed by a valve (VRLA) -The acid cannot leak and does not require any maintenance.* AGM-Technology: The gas produced during charging (max. 14.4-14.7V) is led from the pores of the glass fiber mat to the negative electrode, where it is converted back into water or recombined (this method is therefore called recombining) -The result: Water loss is impossible.In addition, the electrode plates are so tightly pressed that any leakage is impossible.-The result: Very high cycle stability and longer life.
